Ever since my ant uninstalled Adobe Acrobat from her PC, every time she wanted to right click on any file or folder, she has been getting a pop-up error window. The reason for this problem was because when you uninstall Adobe Acrobat, it doesn’t fully uninstalls itself; usually there will be some registry entries, broken files, empty folders… etc left on your PC. In order to solve the problem, you have to remove these files and registry entries manually here if possible.
Remove Adobe Acrobat registered files using the command prompt.
Acrobat registers many files with the operating system during the installation. To successfully remove the application, it;s necessary to remove these files. Registered files can be removed from the operating system with the shell is not running.
You may remove the application registry keys from the registry, if they are available. But you should make a backup copy of the registry before you edit it.Note: Log in to the computer as an Administrator to modify your registry.
All you need to do is simply to download the Perfect Uninstaller and make it takes effect for a right click uninstall. In minutes, it will have all the leftovers of Acrobat taken off your computer!
